How Ovarian Cysts Affect the Body

These symptoms include: menstrual irregularities, painful bowel or urination movement, sudden sharp pelvic pain that is combine with lower back and thigh pain, experience pelvic pain during intercourse, breast tenderness, abdomen can feel very bloated or heavy, pressure on the bladder or rectum, nausea and vomiting.
When you experience these types of symptoms it is a good idea to consult a doctor or specialist and have a routine pelvic examination.
Having your pelvic exam can determine whether or not you have a cyst.
Furthermore if you do have a cyst depending on your age, size or mass of the cyst your doctor will either inform you of watchful waiting of the cyst which can take between one to three months, prescribe you hormonal pills (birth control pills) which in some cases cause side effects or in rare cases making the cyst worst.
Or your doctor may inform you that you may have to get it surgically remove and it will not guarantee you that a new cyst will not return in the future.
