- 1). Open Adobe Photoshop or your photo-editing software of choice. Click the "File" drop-down menu and select "Open." Locate the picture that has the eyeglass glare. Click "Open" and allow the picture to load.
- 2). Select the area of the eyeglass glare. If using Adobe Photoshop, select "Quick Selection." Hold the left mouse button down while you drag a box around the glare.
- 3). Select "Filter" and choose "Render." Within the Render options, choose "Lighting Effects."
- 4). Lower the "Ambiance" lever until it reaches the negative numbers. Once the desired result has been achieved and the glare is gone, click "OK."
- 5). Click off of the selected area. This will deselect the eyeglass glare selection. Choose the "Healing Brush" option. Hold down the "Alt" key while you drag the brush to the edge of the area you repaired. Continue to paint over the entire edge until the photo is acceptable. Click the "File" drop-down menu and select "Save."
