- 1). Right-click on any blank space on the desktop, and select "Preferences" from the pull-down menu.
- 2). Click the "screen saver" link and a set of screen saver options opens.
- 3). Look through the list of screen savers for the one you can't find. If you find the screen saver, click it and select "OK" to turn it on.
- 1). Click "Start," type "System Configuration" in the search box and click "System Configuration" in the Programs list.
- 2). Click the "Startup" tab and click to clear the "PCMService" check box. Click "Apply" then click "Close." Click "Restart" when prompted to restart your computer.
- 3). Click "Start," right-click any blank area on the desktop and select "Preferences" from the pull-down menu. Click the "Screen saver" tab and find the screen saver you lost.
