Updated 9/6/06: You can see Suri Cruise in 22 pages of family portraits in Vanity Fair today. Catch the cover on Celebrity Baby Blog.
Updated 8/26/06: The answer is yes! Suri will appear in the October issue of Vanity Fair.
It is being reported that Vanity Fair has landed photographs of baby Suri. The photos were supposedly taken by Annie Leibovitz, a celebrity photographer. Though her studio is closed for the month of August.
Mum is the word by Vanity Fair and no one could reach the spokesperson for Tom. Will Suri make her photo debut this fall?
CNN and The Celebrity Baby Blog, among others, are reported the oddities related to no public sightings of baby Suri. Some claim it's because of Scientology, noting that Tom's two adopted children with Nicole Kidman weren't see in public until the youngest was over 1 year old. Others point to late filings of birth certificates, refusing to have friends over,, no photos and the like as a complex cover up, insinuating maybe Suri was just a publicity stunt and doesn't really exist. 7/12/06
So where are the pictures of baby Tom Kitten - now known as Suri? There was some speculation that the Cruise/Holmes camp didn't get enough money and hasn't released them. Or were they just being good parents and shielding their daughter? 6/29/06
Reports are flying that not only is Katie having trouble losing her baby weight but that she also is having trouble shaking the baby blues. Insiders report she's emotional and red eyed when they see her, indicating she may be crying a lot.
Is this Brooke's revenge on Tom?
At nearly four weeks postpartum, Katie is spotted sporting her stretch marks.
Tom speaks out about life with Suri He says that the birth was quick and breastfeeding is going well. Updated 5/4/06

It's a girl! The baby weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 20 inches long. Her name - Suri. She was born at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, CA. No word yet on the silent birth, but supposedly they are both doing well, mom and baby that is...
Will Tom eat placenta or crow?
4/18/06
The latest rumor has it that Tom is considering eating Katie's placenta. While this is not an uncommon practice in the wild, it certainly isn't a common practice in the US or among humans.
The good news is that this latest tale is just a rumor and nothing more. I'm glad to see that Tom Cruise can dish it out to the rest of the news media. (Pun intended.)
Will Katie Holmes EVER have this baby?
4/16/06
I always go over due. I consider myself pretty patient about waiting on babies, but I have to admit I'm getting awfully anxious for Katie Holmes' pregnancy to be over. So I have to ask myself, if I'm feeling this way, how must Katie feel? She was still pregnant as of Friday. But, other than shopping, I wonder what she is doing to pass the time?
Not Quite) Silent Birth
4/09/06
There is a lot of hoopla right now about Silent Birth. Basically there are those saying that Tom Cruise is forcing Katie Holmes into having a Silent Birth because of his Scientology beliefs. Detractors say that it is bad to tell the mom that she can't make noise while giving birth.
The truth is that as birth goes today, it is anything but silent. Today's birth rooms are bustling with noise and commotion, very little of which belongs to the mother. Scientology says that they simply want there to be less extraneous chatter during birth and more of a focus on the joy of the moment, including the noise of birth from the mother. (They also don't say anything about medications in labor.)
Tom and Katie Buy an Ultrasound Machine
12/1/05
You might be thinking how nice it would be to have your very own ultrasound machine when you read that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes bought one for use in their home, whenever they want to do it. While they say that once the pregnancy is over they will donate the ultrasound machine to a hospital, there are still critics out there.
The American College of Radiology (ACR) says beyond the potential risks to the baby, it might even be >"unlawful." This also follows on the heels of the Food and Drug Administration’s battle with the popping up of fetal keepsake video stores in many cities. These are places where any pregnant woman can just go in for fun to have an ultrasound. The FDA wants to remind us that the use of ultrasound equipment is for medical purposes only.
If it's ultrasounds you want to see, you might be safer reading through our gallery of ultrasound photos than checking out the ultrasound kiosk at your local mall. Always talk to your doctor or midwife about the need for ultrasound in your pregnancy, because the reasons are specific and not done just because...
