Cristian continues to give Oliver advice about expressing his feelings for Kyle. Fish informs Cris that Kyle is marrying Nick. Cris tells him how Layla and him shared a kiss, but decided that it couldn’t happen again because of Evangeline. Both down on their luck they decide to watch some football until Fish receives a call from John. Later, Cris and Layla have an awkward moment. Cris paints a picture that Layla calls desolate.

Cristian confesses he’s painting what he feels.

Jessica receives a call from her dead husband, Nash. She freaks out until Charlie and Viki tell her they’d call John. Once John arrives he informs them that he’s been tapping all the phones in the house and has a recording of the phone call. John breaks the rules and asks Fish to help with a computer issue at Llanfair. They compare the recording with a recording of a message Nash gave to Jess before he died. John tells Fish to leave. Fish tells him that the job is life and John tells him that he shouldn’t. John is surprised to see that the recordings are a perfect match which leaves Jessica terrified. Nick brings Kyle a tux for their wedding but Kyle decides to have second thoughts. Nick respects his wishes to call off their wedding. Kyle tells him he’ll still keep the tux. After Nick leaves Fish arrives at Kyle’s door.

At La Bouile Tea is on the phone with Danielle. Danielle tells her mom how unhappy she is and wants to come home. Tea tells her it’s out of the question.

She gets interrupted when Ross arrives. Ross realizes she’s talking to Dani and arm handles Tea to give her the phone. Later, Matt and Dani begin to bond, both having family issues. Blair convinces Todd that Tea and Ross were scheming together to milk him out of his money. Blair and Todd begin to make out until, Todd stops. Blair knows he’s thinking of Tea. Blair tells him that she doesn’t want to be alone and they start back up again. Tea goes upstairs looking for Blair and walks in on her with Todd. Tea recognizes what a mistake she would have made staying with Todd. Ross wearily climbs upstairs after Tea hit him over the head with a vase and is also upset to see Blair with Todd. Todd confronts the two about their scheming. Tea and Ross don’t deny what Todd is thinking and continue to keep the secret of their child. Afterwards Ross tells Tea that she owes him and wants to know where Dani is. Tea tells him he’s going to have to love her from a far.
