In July 2000, former NBA star Dennis Rodman plead guilty in California to drunk driving and driving without a valid drivers license. He received three years probation and a small fine.
A month before the drunk driving charges, on November 5, 1999, Rodman and his wife at the time, Carmen Electra, were charged with misdemeanors after police were called because of their loud fighting and screaming. Each had to come up with $2,500 in bail money and were ordered to stay at least 500 feet away from each other.
They were married November 1998 and Electra filed for divorce April 1999.
