• When his father was imprisoned, he became a messenger between his father and other Genovese mobsters.
• January, 2002, he, his father, and other Genovese mobsters, were arrested for infiltrating the International Longshoreman's Association, and for extortion rackets along the waterfronts in New York, New Jersey and Miami.

• April, 2003, Andrew pleaded guilty to extortion and was sentenced to two years in prison and a $2 million fine. The plea agreement also calls for him to be barred for life from the New York, New Jersey and Miami pier business.
