A chronic bad breath cure doesn't have to be super expensive or complicated. With a lot of people who are really self-conscious about their bad breath these people will have an even harder time in life than the average person but with the proper steps taken, breath issues can be a thing of the past.
Before we get started, you should know some facts about your tongue. Your tongue has two parts to it, both of which can cause you problems. Issues with your breath can be created by the back or the front, and sometimes even both. Knowing where the problem is can help us solve it better, so that we can stop it from happening.
The first way to start is to deduce whether you actually have bad breath. A lot of people are just paranoid about it and don't really have it. The most effective way to check is to ask someone. But I understand a lot of people aren't okay with that. If you fit into that category you can just keep going. Try to find out if the problem is in the anterior of your tongue, you should try spitting on or licking your wrist. When it dries, smell it and figure out whether it is good or bad.
The next step is to test the side of your tongue closest to the back of your mouth. You can do this by using a spoon and rubbing it against the posterior side of your tongue. When you do this, smell it and find out if it's a problem. This will help you narrow down the location of the scent.
Bacteria in your mouth, is the leading cause of chronic bad breath. If after the tests you deduce the location of your bad breath as the front, you should brush more often. One of the best ways to prevent bad breath is to brush your teeth regularly. Do not forget that you also have to brush your tongue thoroughly. Also, brushing the far teeth is crucial because they tend to be teeth people miss out on. How clean you keep your mouth is a good determinant of the bacteria within it.
If the back of your tongue ends up being the culprit, you should use antibacterial mouthwash. Mouthwash kills a good majority of the germs in your mouth, making it the perfect weapon. Use it frequently and generously. Gargling in mouthwash guarantees that it will get into all the crevices, minimizing the odour.
If that does not work, try using hydrogen peroxide with equal parts water. It does pretty much the same thing as mouthwash, without the fancy flavoring. It does leave an aftertaste that might be disgusting, but it does work.
If the smell does not subside you might have other underlying issues to deal with, besides bad breath. This is when you should go visit the doctor or dentist to see if something more serious is causing this issue. It may be as simple as tooth decay, but chronic bad breath could be signs of something else.
