I am not contagious.
Why do people look at my arms and suddenly take 2 steps back.
Psoriasis is not the plague, but is sure makes me want to run in a hole and hide whenever I get an outbreak.
A few months ago I took off my sweatshirt work and viola, a huge patch of my arms were covered with psoriasis again.
One of the guys Iwork with just looked at me and said "What is that?" By the tone of his voice I think he really wanted to say "Gross, what's wrong with you?"If I had known that my psoriasis was acting up I never would have taken my sweatshirt off.
How can I get rid of my psoriasis? I was so tired of being embarrassed by this disease and so tired of sweating in long sleeve shirts and pants that I had to find a way to end my psoriasis.
The creams were only a temporary fix and usually burned my skin whenever I applied them.
I started doing research on the computer whenever I could get a chance and I came across some unconventional theories and cures for psoriasis.
It seems that the reason I may be suffering from psoriasis is due to an imbalance in my immune system that is making my cells over react.
You are probably wondering what causes this imbalance.
The imbalance is caused by toxins that are in our bodies as a result of exposure to chemicals, pesticides, preservatives in food that we eat, and nasty parasites!Psoriasis may also be caused by the excess acids in our bodies.
Eventually, these toxins in our bodies affect the make-up of our cells so much that our immune system can no longer resist and fight diseases.
Anyhow, in order to beat these diseases and immune disorders, such as psoriasis, we need to detox our bodies of these toxins and change the way we eat.
After trying everything else I figured why not try this unconventional method.
I followed a plan that showed me how to detoxify my body safely and quickly.
Also, I learned the importance of eating high alkaline foods to reduce the acidity in my body to help beat psoriasis.
In a nutshell, the results have been life changing.
I am finally, for the first time in many years, anticipating the summer so I can wear tank tops and shorts.
Can you relate?
