- 1). To start off, you will need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees farenheit. While your oven is preheating, grease a 9" springform pan along the edge and bottom.
- 2). Crush your graham crackers into crumbs by using a food processor or a blender and mix them with your melted butter in a medium-sized bowl. Gently, but firmly press the crumbs onto the bottom of the springform pan. The crust doesn't have to be perfect, but try to make it as uniformly thick as possible.
- 3). Make the batter of the cheesecake by mixing the cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar until smooth. Add in the four eggs and sour cream and beat the mixture by hand. DO NOT overmix the batter as this will cause cracking and air bubbles in the cheesecake after it has baked. Finally, add the batter to your crust.
- 4). Bake your cheesecake in the oven for one hour. After that, turn off the oven and allow it to cool for at least four, to at most six hours. Take the cheesecake out of the oven and chill in the refrigerator until completely set. Enjoy!
