5.9 Cummins Fuel Line Tools

    Engine Barring Tool

    • This tool is used on Cummins B & C series and 5.9 liter diesel engines. It is inserted into the flywheel to engage the ring gear and rotate the engine with a 1/2-inch ratchet.

    Fuel Pressure Tester Adapter

    • Diagnostic procedures on the Cummins 5.9 DR trucks require a fuel pressure tester adapter to measure fuel pressure before work on the fuel line.

    High Pressure Connecor Remover

    • The high pressure connector remover is used during fuel system service procedure on the Cummins 5.9 and 6.7-liter diesel engines on DR trucks from 2003 to 2011.

    Retaining RIng Remover

    • One of the most difficult parts to remove while working on a 5.9 Cummins is the retaining ring. It often needs a special tool like a fuel delivery module retaining ring remover.

    Fuel Injection Adjusting Wrench

    • A common Allen wrench is not usually enough for fuel work on a 5.9 Cummins. A special size 3mm H4516 tightens fuel line connections. A special Allen wrench called a "fuel injection adjusting Allen wrench" is needed to calibrate the fuel injection system.

    Fuel Catalyst

    • A fuel catalyst creates a molecular change in hydrocarbon fuels by refining the fuel. The process is similar to what happens at an oil refinery but without the heat. The fuel catalyst machine uses low temperatures to revitalize fuel, which aids in its combustion. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst is used in the Cummins 5.9 engine.
