The other option is the restricted ticket where in it is cheaper than the flexible ticket but you are "restricted" to the time and date chosen.

This type of ticket is almost always sold out.
And the closer it is to the date of flight, the more sold out it is.
Bus tickets and restricted airline tickets cost about the same more or less.
