Making Friends Has Never Been Easier!

How many friends do you have? I challenge you to think for a minute and reflect on three of your closest friends.
How did you become friends with these people? Did you just sit down in a random Starbucks and strike up a conversation with a stranger? Maybe, but probably not.
So what were the circumstances surrounding how you befriended these people.
I would venture a guess that a large majority of our friends were met at some kind of function as a result of being somewhere with, or for, someone else.
Here's an example.
Maybe you went to a family member's house for a party and there were 30 people there.
They were strangers to you but friends of the family member.
You sat and talked to several people and found common interests with a few and became 'friends'.
Okay already! What's your point?! With the emergence of the internet and increasing amount of channels we have at our disposal to interact, we have the ability to stay in touch with...
and make thousands of new friends daily! So what? Well recently, I've been asked several times how it is you are supposed to create a list of followers in order to make sales for an online business.
The answer is simple.
Make more friends.
How? Well, with the internet you have your list of possible friends,(followers) mapped out and categorized for you! There are blogs, YouTube channels, Squidoo, Twitter, and Facebook to name a few.
You don't need to speak with one person at a time, you can go to a blog of any niche or category dealing with what you are interested in and participate.
Its just like the party example from earlier.
Get to the party and start interacting.
Let people get to know you.
Comment on the blog posts.
Even better, leave a video comment so people can connect a face with the person they are reading comments from.
One word of caution.
Do Not jump in and start pitching some MLM or affiliate product.
Its okay to have one, but let people sell themselves on you first.
Then they will buy from you.
Do this often enough and you will have developed a name for yourself pretty quickly.
This is the most exciting time in history because of the way we can utilize the many different methods of communication available.
Take advantage of the ability to develop your online brand.
Be yourself.
It's the same as human to human interaction.
Nobody likes a phony person and people aren't stupid.
Don't you hate those disingenuous people who have either 'been there done that', or make unsubstantiated claims? I feel like grabbing those people by the ears and biting their nose.
But I can't because its not socially acceptable to do that.
Oh well.
Pull up to the party and be yourself.
Be just like you are in real life, unless you are a legend in your own mind.
People won't like you, just like they don't in real life.
Have fun and be prosperous.
