The six pack is probably the most sought after trait on any man or woman, as it is attractive, and says that you love to be healthy and exercise.
The six pack can also be one of the hardest feature to acquire, however, especially if you do not have one at the moment, and are looking to get one before that big vacation or office pool party.
A good six pack takes a couple weeks to even begin to show, so you best get on it as soon as possible.
The first thing you should do every morning is one hundred to two hundred sit-ups or crunches.
To do a proper sit-up, be sure to pick a spot directly above you on the ceiling and focus on trying to bring your nose to that spot.
Do your best not to bend your spine, as this will cause a strain on your lower back and will cause all sorts of aches and pains later down the road.
To keep a straight spine, try to arch your upper back, by pushing your chest out as much as possible while doing the sit-up.
Doing this will target your whole abdominal area (upper and lower) and will give you a better workout for the sit-ups that you do.
Be sure to keep your sit-ups slow and controlled so that they actually work your abs and don't just flex them a little bit.
Doing sit-ups can be very tiresome and repetitive, so switch up your routine every day and doing something different.
A great way to build a strong core is to go running every day, preferably in the morning.
Running in the morning will trigger your metabolism and bring it up much higher than if you were to run in the afternoon, a high metabolism means better fat burning ability and that leads to a sexier six pack.
Run about two miles every other day and you will feel stronger in about a week or two at max.
To throw in some equality, try to do some other core exercises, such as back workouts and side workouts, so that it will be easier to build your abdominal muscles quicker and more efficiently.
When you focus on just one muscle group, that group gradually plateaus and stops building as quickly as it did at the beginning.
So actually giving your abdominals a break will allow them to build more quickly than by just working them out every day.
Building a good six pack is very hard to do.
But, if you follow these basic steps and focus on your goal, you will be sure to achieve it.
Make sure to keep working at it, as your results will not show for a while and can take longer than normal to show up.
You must be patient as one day they will show up and you will be very happy about it.
