Marriage and Sex - What You Should NOT Do

Marriage and sex go hand in hand.
It is an important part of a marriage but is certainly not the only part! While there are countless advisories about how to improve your sexual - and married lives, there are some pitfalls you must avoid.
Sex is not a barter for marriage - Do not think of sex as a duty towards your partner that you ought to fulfill simply because of the fact that you are married.
You got to work for it! Never take sex with your spouse for granted.
Avoid following a pattern - Same time, same place set piece routine is a sure killer of any sexual desires and fun.
Work out innovative ideas and routines to make it something to look forward to.
Intoxication doesn't help - Marriage and sex do not go well with drinks.
An odd drink with the partner helps setting the mood, but getting drunk numbs your senses and has an adverse effect on the libido.
Avoid more than an odd drink, that too only if your partner is okay with it.
Going bang on - Are you the type who goes straight for it? That's a sure way of ruining your marriage and sex life forever.
Non-sexual touches like holding hands, hugs, kisses, soft talks, all go into making it a most wonderful experience.
Take your time to build it up.
Never go straight for the act! Not paying attention to Appearance - Most problems arise solely because we take each other for granted in marriage and sex.
Even if it is just your spouse who you see so often, never ever take him or her for granted.
Make sure you not only look good but also smell good.
Never criticize sexual performance or looks- It is important to appreciate but never criticize even if your partner lacks in something.
Love and caring is all about working out things together by positive thought and mutual understanding in marriage and sex.
Do not keep your TV or phone on - Sex is a very intimate process.
Watching a movie or your favorite program - or even porn is nothing short of an insult to your partner - and yourself.
It is a way of indicating that you don't find him or her attractive enough.
Similarly, while attending to phone calls while snuggling up with a partner looks cool in a James Bond movie, it is a strict no-no in real life marriage and sex.
Roll over, it's over - It is just not right manners to roll over the moment you are done.
The beauty of a good sexual liaison lies in being together before and after.
