Dress Code for Your Flight!

It's all about comfort whether you're on the plane or otherwise as well, but of course then there is a common code of conduct which needs to be followed along with it. Especially if we talk about dressing for a flight, there are certain things that must be kept in mind so that not just you but your even co-passengers are pretty comfortable.

Here's a quick list of what you should avoid and what can be a good option to wear while flying:

Don't Wear Tight Clothes And Instead Let Your Skin Breathe Under Breathable Fabrics: The confining space in an airplane is exposed to various sorts of pressures and tight clothes can create problems like restricting proper blood flow in that limited space. Loose fitting natural fabrics can give your skin some breathing room and also keep you comfortable, especially if the flight is for long hours.

Wear Comfortable Shoes and Leave out Those High Heels: Of course, they look splendid but then again heels can cause a lot of restrictions especially in case of an emergency. Plus, however used to one is of heels, they tend to cause chronic foot ache etc. if one has to walk miles across the airport terminals in them. On the other hand, avoid flip flops as well for the same reason that they won't sound like a very good idea in case of an emergency. One can try and consider slip on shoes which would be comfortable and also help make your security checks quick.

Don't wear offensive clothing, in fact try and keep your clothes restricted to the sorts that you would probably wear to a church: Inappropriate messages like controversial statement and curse words, tight miniskirts that make it uncomfortable for one to sit for long, and also clothes that hang too low on neck line; all of these are a complete no - no in a flight because first of all they attract a lot of unnecessary attention and secondly, one should always be sensitive and respect the environment and people around. Plus, it's a plane not a club!

Don't Use Excessive Cologne Or Perfume: This can quite be nauseating for the people sitting around you especially because odours on the plane usually get intensified. And what if there is someone on the plane with allergies or asthma? Excessive odours can cause serious distress and also emergencies for such people. It's better to wear freshly washed clothes, use a mild deodorant and how about one just takes a shower before hopping on to the flight!

Use Layers Instead Of Putting On Those Bulky Jackets: The temperature keeps changing throughout the journey; there might be a sunny airport terminal which leads to a flight that is chilled. Therefore, the safest bet would be to do layers because then you can adjust yourself quite easily according to the environment. Also remember that he seats of an airplane are cramped, if you are planning to wear something bulky like a ski - jacket. Such things can cause discomfort not just to you but also to those sitting next to you. Instead layers can help you breathe more comfortable where you can just throw something over your shoulder or in your cabin carry back when the need be and wrap it around when it gets too cold.

Anyway, as it is commonly said €each to his own', but at the same time one should be a little sensitive towards the environment around whether in terms of clothes or behaviour. So dress comfortably to enjoy your flight and also so that people around you are as comfortable as well.
