- 1). Place the floor jack underneath the chassis frame next to the front right wheel of the car. Step on the jack until you lift the car so that you can see the Megane torsion bar.
- 2). Locate the adjustment bolt underneath the right side of the torsion bar. The bolt is mounted upward and is underneath the torsion bar mount. Turn the adjustment bolt counter-clockwise with the wrench, until the bar has lowered to the position you prefer.
- 3). Remove the jack from under the right front wheel and place it under the chassis frame next to the left front wheel. Step on the jack until you have the lifted the car so you can see the left side of the torsion bar beneath it.
- 4). Locate the adjustment bolt on the left side of the torsion bar. It is mounted upwards underneath the torsion bar mount. Turn the adjustment bolt on the left side of the torsion bar counter-clockwise with the wrench until the left side is at the same level with the right side of the torsion bar.
- 5). Step on the car jack to lower the car to its original position.
