How to Replace Cabin Air Filter for a 2005 Acura Rl

    Instructions

    • 1). Open the glove box.

    • 2). Grasp the top of the fabric on the back of the glove box. Pull it down, releasing the Velcro tabs underneath it.

    • 3). Remove the three clips holding the document box in place.

    • 4). Remove the document box from the glove box.

    • 5). Push the two tabs on each side of the filter housing toward each other while pulling away from the front of the car to remove the housing.

    • 6). Remove the old filter from the filter housing.

    • 7). Insert the new filter into the housing. Make sure the arrow printed on the filter matches the arrow on the housing.

    • 8). Insert the housing with the new filter into the filter compartment.

    • 9). Replace the document box into the glove box. Attach the three clips that hold the document box in place.

      Put the fabric back in place on the back of the glove box, ensuring the Velcro tabs align with each other.
