Components of a Hydration Pack

Hydration pack is a hydrating system, in terms of a pack on the back or at the waist.
They are a popular item because of the convenience it offers while keeping the users hydrated when engaging in different types of activities.
The pack comes with a reservoir that is used for storing the water and is usually made from flexible plastic or materials.
These reservoirs come in different sizes to give users a flexible option when it comes to selecting the ones that fit their needs.
One of the most popular components of the hydration pack is the sip tube.
Most of them are made from polyurethane because it is not only durable but also comes with a nice drape.
Some of the sip tube can be detached from the reservoir while those that are not detachable come with detachable valves.
In order to prevent the polyurethane from transferring plastic to the water, the users should ensure that they keep the inside of the tube completely dry.
These tubes are usually connected to a bite valve.
Most bite valves are made from silicon and are used to get the water out of the reservoir.
It is important that the users be careful in using them In order to avoid reducing the life span of the valve by biting too hard on them.
The other component that comes with the hydration pack is the tube portals, which are slits that help the user to insert the sip tube from the interior of the pack.
Some packs come with one slit while others come with a single one.
Some of them are also available with a component known as clip, which is useful in keeping the tube in place so as to increase the access to the tube.
Users will also be able to find other pack accessories such as insulated components like tubes and reservoirs, covers and many others.
