- 1). Take the paper or cardboard insert out of your poster frame. You will use this to attach your photos.
- 2). Prepare your photos. Cut, crop and trim the outside edged of your photos. This gives more of a collage feel. You can leave the photos in tact if you like.
- 3). Lay down old sheets of newspaper to protect your work area. Spray an even coating of adhesive to the whole surface of the cardboard or paper frame insert.
- 4). Arrange your photos. Begin placing your photos on the adhesive surface you created. Overlap you photos and arrange them at different angles to create a more interesting affect. If you would like to add more photos after you have covered all areas with spray adhesive, use double sided tape to attach them. If you are going to create a boarder, make sure to leave space at the edges on all sides.
- 5). Create a boarder. If you would like a boarder on your collage, use double sided tape to affix ribbon at each edge. This creates a nice framed look to your collage. You can also create a photo mat boarder with poster board. Cut out strips of poster board as wide as you want your border and as tall as the dimensions of your frame. Use double sided tape to attach your border.
- 6). Place the collage in the frame. Your photo collage all decoration is now ready to hang.
