A decent pair of glasses can spice up your appearance, so choose your frames carefully. Select something which complements your complexion and looks fabulous at every occasion.
Match your specs to your skin tone and enhance your looks:
Bronze
If you're lucky enough to have beautiful bronze skin you can pull off warm, rich frames. Opt for brown, copper or coral shades and bring out your natural colourings. If you're feeling brave, why not turn up the heat in red spectacles or experiment with gold? Tortoiseshell glasses will look wonderfully classy, so check out Karen Millen's range and try on an array of styles.
Olive
People with olive skin can also wear warm colours, so take a look at aqua, beige, copper or honey tones. If you've brown hair, tortoiseshell will look stunning, whereas red can really bring out the colour of dark hair. Avoid white, charcoal and pewter as these will look washed up on darker skin. Glance at Missoni's range for a selection of designer specs and look wonderful wherever you go.
Dark
If you've got dark skin you can wear a number of bright colours including red, green and purple. Detailed frames should look stunning though stay away from jazzy patterns, as these might be too overwhelming. There are a number of colourful spectacles in the FCUK Vision range or you could check out the designer glasses from Roxy.
Pale
Pale shades look great on pale skin, so work the light pinks, blues, browns and greens. Soft shades will complement your natural skin tones, but if you fancy a more edgy look opt for black frames. A dark colour will contrast wonderfully against pale skin, so take a look at the geek chic range by Gok Wan and try out the preppy look.
Red
People with red cheeks often suit black, blue-grey, magenta, light pink, charcoal or silver frames as these colours tone down a brightly coloured face. Avoid bright red spectacles and stay clear of orange, white, gold, copper and beige as these look better on people with warmer skin tones. Quicksilver has a range of subtle specs that'll look fabulous on those with rosy cheeks.
There's a whole range of glasses out there, so choose something to suit you.
