- 1). Access the location on your SmartPhone that contains the downloaded TeleNav application. The exact location of this download will vary by SmartPhone. For example, for the BlackBerry, the downloaded app will be located in your "Downloads" folder. For the iPhone, just slide through all of your downloaded apps until you locate the TeleNav application.
- 2). Click on the "Delete" option to start the uninstall process. For the Blackberry, you can do this two different ways. For the first method highlight the TeleNav app with your trackball. Click on the "Berries" button. Select "Delete." For the second method, press the "Berries" button, select the "Options" icon, "Advanced Options," and "Applications." Highlight the TeleNav application. Press the "Berries" button, and select "Delete."
- 3). For the iPhone or iPod Touch, just press and hold the TeleNav application until the "X" appears in the right hand corner. Touch the "X" to delete the app.
- 4). Confirm your intentions to delete the TeleNav application if you receive a prompt asking you if you are sure you want to delete the program.
- 5). Wait as the TeleNav application automatically uninstalls itself on your mobile device. Depending upon your mobile device, it may be necessary to restart your phone to make the complete the uninstall process If you are using an iPhone be sure to delete the TeleNav application from the iTunes application on your computer. Otherwise, when you re-sync your iPhone with your computer TeleNav will be placed back onto your iPhone.
