- 1). Open Windows Media Player. Connect the MP3 player to your computer using the USB cable that came with it.
- 2). Click the "Sync" tab. Click the "Library" button, right-click the songs you want to transfer, and click "Add to Sync List." Alternatively, you can drag and drop songs directly into the "Sync List" window under the Sync tab.
- 3). Click the "Start Sync" button. Windows Media Player automatically determines the best conversion format for the MP3 player and converts any songs in need of conversion before transferring them to the device.
- 1). Connect the MP3 player to your computer, using the player's USB cable. Click the "Start" button in the Windows taskbar on the bottom of the screen.
- 2). Click "Computer" ("My Computer" if you're using Windows XP). Double-click the name of the MP3 player. All of the files and folders on the MP3 player will open in a new window. Find the "Music/Audio" or similarly titled folder. If you don't see such a folder, right-click a blank area in the window, select "New" and click "Folder." Right-click the new folder, click "Rename" and rename the folder "Music."
- 3). Drag and drop the songs you want into the "Music" folder on the MP3 player.
