If you haven't yet heard about Squidoo, you are missing out big time! Squidoo is a cross between a website and a blog, and its what has become known as a Web 2.

0 simply refers to the "second generation" of online web sites that allow people who don't know that much about computers to interact on the Internet with ease.
Squidoo provides a free platform for you to display a hobby, a favorite sport, your home business, or anything in between.
In regards to making money from home, Squidoo can be used for a number of reasons including selling your own products or affiliate marketing of other people's products.
It can be used for generating traffic for another website or giving away a free report to develop a list.
Or maybe most importantly you can use Squidoo to become an expert while establishing credibility in your field.
The possibilities are almost endless.
Just use your imagination! Best of all, a Squidoo Lens is not that hard to create.
Here are some simple steps to follow to get you started.

Click the "Start Building!" button at Squidoo.
com and tell them you're new.

First choose your Topic.
This is your keyword, not your full title.

Next choose your Goal, or what the purpose is that you are starting this lens.

On the next page you are asked to choose your Title and URL.
Try to make your Title and URL match each other, as well as match your keyword.
Then choose a Category and Rate your Lens for viewers.

Choose a few more related keywords to help people and search engines find you easily.

You will be asked if you would like to donate to charity.
Lastly you need to set up your Squidoo account with a username and password, then click "Done".

You now see the layout of your new Lens.
You can use the "Add Modules" shortcut at the right side to enter text modules, etc.
and then edit them easily.

Click "Publish" up in the top right corner of the screen and you have just created your first Squidoo Lens! You can edit it anytime from your Dashboard.
As you can see, creating a Squidoo Lens is both easy, and fun! You can create as many Lenses as you could possibly want to.
The hard part is actually coming up with content to publish on your new Lenses, unless you are a natural at writing, or you are really passionate about your topic.
And if you're not either of these things there are always freelance writers, so don't let anything stop you from taking over Squidoo! With these easy to follow steps above you shouldn't have a problem.
