How to Replace an iPhone 3G Speaker

    • 1). Visit the Apple website (see Resources).

    • 2). Click the "Support" tab. You will be taken to the product support page. Under the "Get Support" options select "iPhone."

    • 3). Select "Service + Repair" from the left-hand menu bar. On the following page, enter your handset's hardware serial number. To find the phone's serial number, tap the "Settings" icon on the iPhone's home screen. Tap the "About" option. Scroll down and you will see the item "Serial Number."

Once you have entered your handset's serial number you will be presented with your product's warranty status. If the phone is still under warranty you should have no problems getting a repair. If you warranty is invalid, you may have to pay for the replacement service.

You will be sent by mail a returnable shipping box so you can send your phone to Apple for repair. Ship your phone back to Apple and your iPhone 3G speaker will be replaced.
