So, if you're asking them to do homework assignments as a result of a coaching program lesson, they will be more likely to complete the homework than if you were just a coach perceived as untalented.
We see this happen all the time when it comes to celebrities in the movies or on TV.
A lot of people act unlike their rational selves when they get around celebrities.
Even some celebrities act a little flaky when they get around other celebrities that appear to be more powerful or influential then themselves.
