But the truth is, no matter what type of mattress you will be using, it doesn't matter if they are expensive or cheap mattresses if you don't follow a healthy sleeping habit, you will end up just as tired like you are sleeping on a pile of bricks when you wake up in the morning, minus maybe the body pains.
We have mentioned time and again the different types of mattresses and how to choose one for fit that I sometimes felt like a broken DVD disc.
So to provide the readers with a totally different topic I am dedicating this portion to good sleeping habits that might not just save you some precious dollars but hopefully will help rescue your personal relationships, your job and save you from the impending self-destruction mode which very well could be just around the corner if you are losing too much sleep.
According to a research study (here we go), there are several possibilities if you lose too much sleep and it may have nothing to do with comfortable cheap mattresses that score well on some mattress reviews on the internet or expensive ones that you are having a hard time sleeping on.
The lists below are just some of the common effects of sleep deprivations: 1.
Your memory and concentration will drastically decrease
- Finding the right word to say will be very difficult - - - bad if you're a lawyer.
- Learning is stagnated - - - not that you're good at it anyways.
- Even routine job responsibilities are missed - - - good way to lose your job.
- Your partner's birthday and anniversaries passed by unnoticed - - - divorce paper is coming up, avoid the lawyer above.
You easily get irritated.
3.
Brain functions abnormally.
4.
Child's normal growth is affected.
5.
You become prone to infection.
6.
in some very extreme cases, deaths are recorded.
If the mattress is not the reason why you are losing so much sleep, then you need a good sleeping practice.
Here are some of the best sleeping habits I listed below that will help you avoid those unpleasant scenarios above.
Set-up a sleeping schedule You need to make a sleep schedule that will be easy to follow.
Go home on schedule, leave some allowances for you to undress, eat, wash yourself, if you are married you also need time to talk to your partner, have a good sex (extra time needed) then go to sleep.
Say for example if you set your sleeping time at 10 o'clock, follow it! Regardless of what happens in between you need to go to bed.
If you think sex is not possible before ten then try to get it before getting out of bed in the morning.
Avoid Caffeine Coffee is reserve in the morning to wake your senses.
The keywords are caffeine and wake your senses.
Avoid anything that has caffeine in it to avoid being restless at night.
Get that TV out of the room For some people, televisions and radios help put them to sleep.
But if you are a certified TVholic that TV has gotta go.
Move it out of the room but if the wife/husband disagrees, make a compromise by forcing her/him to leave the remote outside.
Getting out of bed to change the channel every time will eventually help change their minds.
Don't eat too much or drink lots of water at night You know why, no need to explain here.
Avoid alcohol and nicotine Now this is the hardest part that is why I save it for last.
Alcohol and nicotine contained stimulants.
Nicotine in cigarettes keeps you awake at night while Alcohol reduces your sleeping time.
While it's true that they are very hard to resist you still can do something about it.
- Set a time for the last cigarette.
If you go to bed at 10, light your last cigarette for the day at 9 pm, brush your teeth or gurgle, this will hold off the urge to smoke for a while.
Go to bed immediately and have sex in the morning.
This worked to a lot of people so why not on you. - Don't take a sip; it will energize your body, besides one sip always leads to another.
If you need to drink, take a swig or takedown a barrel to knock your senses out.
This will help you sleep longer.
Or you can stop drinking regularly altogether which is best, by the way.
If they do not help, you can always check with your doctor, he may have something to help put you to sleep, but if it's the mattress, you know where to go to read more mattress reviews.
