Go to YouTube's channel and create an account, if you do not already have one. An account at YouTube is free. Fill out the form to create your account and then log in. Upload a profile photo to your account if you prefer. - 2
Edit your channel information. Your channel is actually your Web page at YouTube. First you will need to think of a title for your channel. Type that into the title area. Personalize the title of your page/channel to something that will match the type of videos you will be posting or add your name to the title. - 3). Think of how you would like to describe your channel. Tell viewers a little bit about yourself or your videos. Type this into the description field of the Web page. Use keywords that will match the videos that you plan on sharing. If you will be showing pet videos or animals, be sure to use the word, "pets," or the type of animal that you will be showing.
- 4). Personalize your channel with tags--keywords that will help YouTube users find your channel. Then decide how you would like comments displayed and who will be allowed to comment on your videos. Click, "update channel," once all of these selections have been filled out.

Select your theme, colors and background images by selecting the channel design option. Choose the color theme that you would like to have. Towards the bottom of this page, you can decide what kind of font to use and the colors of your links. Then, decide which video you would like to have featured on your page. Other options include where your subscription box is placed, your favorite videos and comments. You can also choose to have a background image for your Web page as well. - 6). Upload your favorite videos to your account. Be sure that they are free of any adult content or offensive material. Add any favorite videos that you have on YouTube. Share your YouTube page on websites and blogs, or send an email to your friends and family about it.
