Several colleges and universities with religious affiliations serve Missouri, a portion of which are Methodist affiliated or have vibrant Methodist student communities. Regular chapel service, bible study groups and athletic fellowship organizations help characterize the campus ministry life of these Missouri colleges. - Located in the small central Missouri city of Fayette, Central Methodist University was founded in 1854. CMU has additional satellite campuses across Missouri, in St. Louis, Columbia, Trenton, as well as several other cities. In addition to a diversity of undergraduate and graduate academic degree programs in areas like Chemistry, Criminal Justice and Political Science, the university also features a vibrant campus ministry life. Chapel services are held weekly at either of the school's two worship centers, the Wayside Chapel and Paul H. Linn Memorial United Methodist Church. CMU also has a variety of religious activities in which students may participate, including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Women Gathered in Faith and Men's Bible Study.

Almost 300 students are enrolled in the school's four graduate degree programs. In addition to three masters programs and a Doctor of Ministry course of study, Saint Paul also offers continuing education coursework for adult students. Several campus organizations at Saint Paul serve as complements to Methodist teachings in the classroom, including The Evangelical Society, the Order of Saint Luke and Women in Ministry.

spst.edu - Established in 1833, Stephens College is a women's college located in the large central Missouri city of Columbia. While Stephens College is not officially affiliated with the Methodist church, the college is part of a network of three Columbia, Missouri schools served by the Wesley United Methodist Campus Ministry. Located less than a half mile away from the college's main campus, Wesley offers an array of activities for students interested in continuing Methodist worship and study, including prayer service, bible study and even sports activities. Additional student resources include peer ministry, volunteer service related groups and a praise band.
