- Guarana refers to the berry for of a small climbing plant. It can be found growing up the sides of rock formations or even trees. Guarana and its internal seeds known as guranine are a known stimulant or energy enhancer. It is commonly compared to caffeine.
- While these are just a sample of the many herbs available, they are examples of the variety of natural supplements and their varied uses. Many herbal remedies are in one form or another labeled as Chinese, Eastern or Oriental medicine, but this does not necessarily mean they are of that origin.
