Book-A-Bakkie is a vehicle rental company that is based in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria, Durban and Port Elizabeth that offers bakkie, van and truck rental directly to the public and to SME's. We believe in offering a quality service at the best possible rate.

Our Truck Rental Fleet

We stock a large fleet of trucks throughout South Africa. We offer three core truck configurations. These include:

- Panel Vans
- Drop Sides
- Curtain Sides

Our truck load capacities range from between 1 and 14 ton.
In addition, we stock three types of specialised vehicles. These include:

- Crane Trucks
- Tail Lifts
- Refrigerated Trucks

How to rent a vehicle

The truck rental process is not as hard as you may think. We have simplified the rental process to make it fast and easy for everybody.
To hire a truck, follow these easy steps:

- Call us on 0861 266 522.
- Tell us what your transportation requirements are.
- Give us the details of the pickup and drop off locations.
- We will then generate and quote and email it to you with some paperwork.
- You then need to complete the paperwork and send it back to us along with proof of payment.
- Once we have received your proof of payment and your paperwork, we will book a vehicle for you.
- On the day that you have agreed on for your truck to be hired, it will arrive at your destination at a pre decided time.
- Once the job is completed, the truck will return to our yard.

Additional Info

We will supply you with a qualified professional driver to drive the truck that you hire from us. We do this as not everybody has the necessary license to drive a truck. In addition, if you use our drivers the deposit payment from you will be less and you will not have to pay an excess should something happen while the vehicle is rented to you.
