- 1). Push the small, black button on the left side of the handle in and remove the clip. Pull the slide back and remove the bullet that is inside the chamber. Pull the trigger to release the firing pin. Pull the slide back one-quarter inch and pull both of the small, black handles down that are on the right and left sides of the plastic frame. Push the slide forward and remove it from the frame.
- 2). Push the large, round, plastic tapper pin located above the trigger out using the Glock disassembly tool. Pull the thin, metal push arm that is connected to the trigger out from the frame. Unhook the spring using the Glock tool and remove the spring from the frame.
- 3). Hook the new Glock trigger spring to the lower connector inside the frame and pull the opposite end up to the upper connector. Hook the spring onto the upper connector. Replace the push arm to the original position and insert the tip into the slot on the rear of the trigger.
- 4). Replace the plastic tapper pin to the hole on the side of the Glock above the trigger. Push the pin back in using the Glock tool. Place the slide on the top of the frame and pull the slide back to lock it into place on the frame.
