- Drop a dollop of your favorite yogurt on top of the pancakes and garnish with your choice of berries; strawberries, blueberries and blackberries work best. Drizzle with maple syrup. Adding yogurt to this serving gives this meal a protein boost to get your energy up in the morning.
- Chop an apple into 1/2-inch cubes and place on top of pancakes. Take a pinch of cinnamon and sprinkle over top of the apples. Finish by drizzling with maple syrup.
- Spread peanut butter over your pancakes and follow with your favorite jam. Alternatively, peanut butter can be replaced with other nut butters such as almond or hazelnut.
- Sprinkle pancakes with raw almonds and dark chocolate chips. Finish with maple syrup to create a truly decadent meal.
