- 1). Open the iTunes application. Click once on the song you would like to modify so that it is highlighted. If you are changing an entire album's artwork, highlight all of the songs from the album.
- 2). Bring up a list of further options by right-clicking the highlighted region on a PC. On a Mac, use the Control and click. Move the cursor over the "Get Info" option and click once. A new window with the song or album's information should appear.
- 3). Select the "Artwork" tab at the top of the window. Click once on the album image that appears. Click the "Delete" option below the the picture. Leave the window open to add artwork.
- 1). Minimize the iTunes application. Some versions may require you to either drag iTunes to the side or to select the "Hide iTunes" option from one of the tabs on the toolbar.
- 2). Locate the image on the computer's hard drive that you would like to use for the chosen album. If the image cannot be found, search images online and save it to your hard drive in a place that is easy to find. The JPEG format is the most commonly used file in iTunes artwork.
- 3). Click on the image file and drag it to the left side of the screen. Maximize iTunes so that you are looking at the information editing window you were left with. Drag the image file into the box where the old image once was. Click "OK" at the bottom of the editing window.
