Strange isn't it how lots of folk start a hobby after looking into it a little only to give up half way through normally because they feel they've done it wrong or they just can't do it.
When you're starting a tropical freshwater fish aquarium and you don't know what to do half way through, then get some more information.
I've written lots of articles on the utter importance of researching your hobby before starting it because this will of course steer you clear of all those 'horribl pitfalls.
It seems though that some folk are researching just enough to get going and then give up after they've exhausted that research.
Listen up you folks, the solution is simple - do a little more research.
It won't take long, an hour or so maybe, and then you're away again.
If you feel that only talking to someone will do the trick then get down to the local pet shop and ask away, they'll be really glad to share their knowledge with you, honestly, and after all that's what they're there for.
If you want contact online with someone then join an aquarium fish forum and discuss your difficulties, ideas and dreams there with lots and lots of other like minded individuals.
There really is no reason to give up half way through when you start a freshwater fish aquarium.
Just understand what the problem is, find the solution online or in your pet shop or wherever you choose and bang, problem solved.
Please don't think you can't find the answer because there is always someone out there who has been there before you.
So go on, chin up, shoulders out, get that piece of information you need and in an hour or so you'll be off again enjoying one of the best hobbies out there.
