Instructions
1Wear a light, semi-translucent foundation to even out your skin tone and cover up blemishes. If you have freckles, a semi-translucent foundation will allow them to show through rather than be hidden. This helps keep your look natural.
2
Use light-rose and medium-bronze shades of blush. These shades help accentuate your hair color and skin tone. They also give your look a warm glow that your red hair also radiates.
3
Try a chocolate-brown or deep-auburn shade of mascara; aim for one or two shades darker than your hair color. Since many redheads have very light eyelashes, using a darker shade of mascara will help bring out the color of your eyes and complement your red hair.
4
Choose a lip color in the mocha, plum, burgundy or deep-red family. All of these colors pair well with red hair. For a lighter look, use nude shades or shimmery glosses.
5
Avoid any orange shades of makeup, including foundation, blush, lip color and eye shadow. These shades will clash with the red in your hair. Keep this in mind when selecting your wardrobe as well.
