- 1). Turn the Air Hog power switch to the off position.
- 2). Determine whether the fly bar is mounted below the propeller or above it. Mounting location will vary with different Air Hog helicopters.
- 3). Disconnect the vertical rod running from the propeller to the fly bar. Gently pull it apart by hand.
- 4). Slide the propeller off the helicopter shaft if the fly bar is mounted below it. If the fly bar is mounted above the propeller, slide it off the shaft. Use a pair of needle-nose pliers to help work the propeller and the fly bar off.
- 5). Slip the propeller back onto the shaft and then the fly bar, if it is a top-mount fly bar. If the fly bar is bottom-mount, slip the fly bar on and then the propeller.
- 6). Connect the vertical rod between the fly bar and propeller by slipping it onto the ends of each.
