- 1). Attach the bottom of the strap directly to the bottom of the frame by inserting the strap's bottom-looped end--from the inside of the frame--in through the small plastic grommet, back to the outside of the frame. Bring the opposite end of the strap back through the loop, then pull to tighten.
- 2). Fit the free--top portion--end of the shoulder strap through the metal buckle on top of the frame. Ensure that the padded side of the strap is facing inward, as you would wear it on your shoulder, and that the webbing straps are straight and flat. They shouldn't be twisted in any way.
- 3). Repeat the process for the other strap, then tighten the straps down by threading the webbing through the adjustment buckle, located on the front center of either strap, and pull down.
