How many times have you discovered the "secret" of how to get rid of belly fat?How many insane (and unhealthy) diets have you undertaken? How many magic pills have you gulped? How many hours have you dedicated to exercises that promised you would lose belly fat quick, but did nothing more than strain your lower back? Probably more times than you could count.
Certainly more times than you would care to admit.
It's no wonder with all of the hundreds and thousands of ads promising that THIS diet, THIS pill, THIS exercise program is the one.
The one that will finally help you lose belly fat quick, the one that will finally help you to achieve the six-pack ab muscles of your dreams.
The one that will finally get rid of that flabby spare tire and turn you into someone capable of strutting down the beach, your stomach firm, flat and sexy.
Every where you turn, you are bombarded with these bogus promises.
Nowhere are you safe from these cruel, seductive lies.
Magazines full of glossy ads with thin, beautiful people whisper that you too can be thin and beautiful if you purchase their products.
The buff and chiseled on infomercials generously offer to share their secrets of how to get rid of belly fat, slyly plying you when you are at your weakest, late at night while you are feeling lonely and unattractive or on Sunday mornings as you nurse your hangover, feeling fat and bloated.
After awhile, you become disgusted with all the lies and hype.
You get tired of wasting your time and money on false promises, and decide that there is no secret to learning how to get rid of belly fat other than being born with the right genes.
You resolve yourself to the fact that you will always have a fat, flabby stomach.
Well, that is a real shame because although their certainly are a lot of products and programs out there that are nothing more than hype and hot air, there are a few that actually work and will help you to lose weight and have the body you want.
In fact, you've probably seen them but you didn't pay any attention to them.
That's because anything that is truly effective is not going to work over night, or work at all without significant effort on your part.
It isn't going to be hyped up as a magical cure that works overnight.
You are so conditioned to hype, that you fail to notice things that aren't hyped up with the false promises.
There is a reason the fitness and weight-loss industries advertise the way they do.
Because it works.
People are lazy and they would much rather take a pill or some kind of secret shortcut than putting in the time and effort to eat and exercise properly.
Advertisers know this, and so they use it to their advantage in order to sell products.
If people weren't so willing to buy into hype, advertisers wouldn't bother using it.
So instead of getting mad at advertisers for lying to you, get mad at yourself for wanting to take the easy way out.
There are no short cuts in life, and if you truly want to know how to get rid of belly fat, then stop looking for things that offer a quick, magical solution and start paying attention to things that make sense, like changing your eating habits, and exercising on a daily basis.
