How to Overclock an Asus P5B

    • 1). Reset your PC, either through your Start menu or by holding down your "Power" button until your PC powers off. If you do the latter, turn your PC back on.

    • 2). Enter your BIOS by pressing "F6" on your keyboard at the ASUS splash screen. This will take you into your BIOS menu rather than boot up your operating system.

    • 3). Go to your Advanced BIOS Settings submenu. This is done by using the directional arrows on your keyboard to highlight the menu option, then pressing the "Enter" key to go into your menu.

    • 4). Highlight your "Front-Side Bus Speed" option with the directional arrows and press the "Enter" key to be able to edit the speed. Now, using the numerical keys or the up and down arrows, input a new speed. Press "Esc" to exit the editing mode.

    • 5). Press "Esc" to exit back to your main BIOS menu, then press the button again to exit your BIOS. When prompted, press "Y" to save your options and restart your PC.
