- 1). Open and load the WoW gaming application and log in with your current username and password.
- 2). Select "Options" from the main game screen followed by choosing the "Sounds" menu.
- 3). Select the "Voice" tab within the "Sounds" window to open the in-game voice chat options.
- 4). Place a checkmark next to the "Enable Voice Chat" option to begin using voice chat in-game.
- 5). Scroll through the voice chat options to enable your microphone (by selecting the checkmark next to the option) and also choosing your microphone software and speaker equipment.
- 6). Select "Push-to-Talk" under "Voice Chat Mode" and below the "Push-to-Talk" header choose a key that will activate your microphone. Enter a key using your keyboard to set the button required for your microphone to activate during gameplay.
- 7). Press "Okay" at the bottom of the "Voice" settings box to save the settings to your game.
- 8). Return to your live game to test your in-game voice chat by pressing the "Push-to-Talk" key set earlier for the activation of your microphone. You will then have the ability to speak to others while playing online in various WoW realms.
