- 1). Place an 8-by-10-inch sheet of cardboard lengthwise on a table.
- 2). Fold the right side of the sheet over to the left side, but leave 1/2 inch of the left side sticking out. Fold the 1/2-inch flap inward and open the entire sheet back up.
- 3). Fold the cardboard sheet 1 inch to the right of the center fold. Open the sheet back up. Measure 1 inch from the 1/2-inch fold on the left side of the sheet, and make an inward fold at this point.
- 4). Assemble the outside of your case by following all the folds. Apply glue to the outside of the 1/2-inch fold and attach the right side of the sheet to it. Aim for a case exterior that measures 2 1/2 inches by 10 inches.
- 1). Place a sheet of cardboard that measures 3 3/4 by 11 1/2 inches lengthwise in front of you.
- 2). Fold the outer edges of the cardboard 3/4 inch inward.
- 3). Cut out the small squares in each of the corners, so you can bring the sides together.
- 4). Use heavy-duty tape on the inside corners of the tray to secure the edges.
- 5). Slide the tray into the exterior part of the case to complete your cardboard sliding case.
