How to Make a Mask Out of Dough

    • 1). Choose a dough color for the base of the mask. Roll the chosen dough into a ball that is approximately 3 to 4 inches in diameter.

    • 2). Place the dough ball on a flat surface. Use a rolling pin to roll the ball until you are left with a flattened piece of dough. The flattened dough should be at least 1/4 inch in thickness.

    • 3). Pinch the edges of the dough until you have created an oval shape. Flatten any lumps or excess dough using the palm of your hand.

    • 4). Use your finger to create two eye holes in the top half of the mask. These holes should fall 2 inches apart in the top portion of the mask, and should be at least 1 inch wide.

    • 5). Use any excess or additional dough to add fun characteristics to the mask. Many children like to create noses, eyebrows and even mustaches. Add these pieces gently by pressing them down into the base piece.
