• Not all fish can survive in a bowl. Goldfish, while popularly put in bowls, do not tend to do well in a bowl environment. Examples of fish and combinations of fish suited for a decorative bowl include one betta, either male or female or three white clouds. Adding a few ghost shrimp to live with either of these species is also suitable. Don't place your decorative fish habitat near a heater, as cooler water is more suitable for the bowl fish.
  
  

Considerations

• Add live plants to your bowl to encourage oxygen production and provide a habitat for your fish. Feed floating foods, as you may have difficulty seeing sunken food on the bottom of the bowl.
