Deadlifts When it coems to muscle building exercises, nothing beats the deadlift! If you're looking to build lean muscle, deadlifts will add massive amounts of muscle to your back, this exercise is what will get you that thick back you see on serious bodybuilders.
To execute a deadlift, place your feet under the barbell on the floor, with your toes pointing out, then grip the bar with your hands about 20 inches apart and push up with your heels.
Make sure you keep your chest up and butt out throughout the motion to avoid injury.

Squats If anything can trump the deadlift in terms of it's ability to pack on muscle, it's the squat! Squats are painful and they pack on massive amounts of mass if done right.
Squats not only help your quads grow, but the rest of your body since they cause the release of human growth hormone.
When you do a squat, first unrack the weight and rest it on the top of your traps, then with your chest out and butt out, squat down to parallel and push back up with your heels.
This can cause some serious damage if you do it wrong, so start out with a lighter weight when learning the exercise.
These muscle building exercises will help you to add on some serious slabs of muscle, however to really reach the next level, you're going to need a solid plan and diet laid out for you to follow.
