Print quality is really important in the world of business these days and although it sounds silly, it's actually very important to provide a good first impression.
If you're applying for a job and your CV is all tatty and blotchy, people are more likely to offer the job to someone who's CV was printed perfectly with a beautiful print quality.
If you own an Epson printer, Epson cartridges can really improve your print quality.
Using compatible ink cartridges is all very good and well but if you have something important to print, it's best to use the cartridges that are designed to work best with the printer you have.
So, for example, if you own a Canon printer, you'd have to buy Canon cartridges and a Lexmark printer will work best with Lexmark cartridges and so on and so forth.
So, next time you run out of ink, it's worth considering the fact that spending that extra £5 will actually make a big difference.
A lot of people assume that a good printer will work with any kind of ink.
This isn't the case at all - branded printers are usually designed to work best with the same brand of ink cartridge.
Epson cartridges aren't that much more expensive than compatible ones so you shouldn't worry too much about cost.
However, it really depends on your printing needs.
If you print a lot of important documents then chances are you can justify spending £25-30 per cartridge.
However, if you rarely print documents then compatible print cartridges will be fine.
Think about how much you use your printer and whether or not you need to fork out the extra money for Epson cartridges.
Just be sure to remember how much of a difference it can make.
You can also change the settings on most printer software to print of a quality appropriate for the job in hand.
Most new printers are capable of much more than we give them credit for and certainly personal users will only scrape the surface of their printer's capabilities.
Take the time to find out what your printer can do and if it's not sufficient for your needs then it could be worth buying a new one.
