- 1). Locate the two clips between the top of the front panel and the top of the dryer. Place a putty knife directly in front of them and push them back to release the top from the front panel. Lift it up and tilt it back out of the way.
- 2). Open the door and use a screwdriver to remove the two screws located on the bottom of the opening. Back out the screws on top of the front panel. Pull the front panel away from the dyer cabinet to reveal the wires for the door switch, and remove them from the terminals.
- 3). Disconnect the door lamp and electro sensor wires located at the top of the dryer cabinet on the left side, and at the bottom of the dryer cabinet on the right side. Remove the four screws on the front edges of the dryer cabinet sides to free the drum.
- 4). Work the belt over the pulleys on the motor and the tensioning mechanism. Pull the drum from the cabinet and replace the belt. Set the drum back in the dyer cabinet and work the belt over the motor pulley and the tensioning pulley.
- 5). Put the screws back into the front edges of the dryer cabinet sides. Reconnect the door lamp and electro sensor. Hold the front panel close enough to hook up the door switch and then secure it with the two screws at the top of the front panel.
- 6). Secure the two screws at the bottom of the door opening and close the door. Place the top of the dryer back in place.
