Historic 19th-century Foot Bridge in Amsterdam"s Old City Center

This foot bridge crosses Amsterdam's Oudezijds Voorburgwal canal in the old city center. Built in 1893, the bridge is called the Makelaarsbruggetje, or "Little Bridge of Brokers," as it was erected to shorten the trip to market tobacco brokers had to make each Friday.
