Using CSS

• 1). Open the HTML file with a plain text editor. Under the head tag, hit the "Enter" key and type <style>.
  
  
• 2). Hit the "Enter" key again. Highlight the CSS code in the second box on SiteCrafting.com.
  
  
• 3). Right click on the highlighted CSS and select "Copy." To copy the content with a Mac, highlight the content, and press "Command" and "C" simultaneously.
  
  
• 4). Open the HTML file again. Under <style>, right click, and select "Paste." To paste with a Mac, press "Command" and "V" simultaneously.
  
  
• 5). Type in the desired height under #wrapper, next to "height:." Underneath it, type the desired width of the DIV block in pixels, next to "width:."
  
  
• 6). Press the space bar at the end of "}", located under "top: 50%;." Type </style>.
  
  

Using DIV Style

• 1). Locate the <div> tag. Next to it, type "div style="text-align:." Type "center;" next to it, as shown on Dorward.me.uk. Close off the command with ">."
  
  
• 2). Press the enter key. Type in the DIV style text-align code again, but type in "left" as its alignment. Type ";" after it.
  
  
• 3). Type "margin: 1em auto" and "width: 50%." Put a semi-colon between each command. Close out the command with ">."
