Decide what colors you want to create for the airbrush paint. This may depend on what you need to paint on your model, if it is for an event or photo shoot. In this case, you will most likely need numerous colors. You will be using food dye and coloring for the desired color, but if you are creating a color you do not have, find two and mix them to make it first. - 2). Combine the airbrush body paint ingredients, depending upon how much paint you need. For one gallon, combine the baking soda and vinegar and let sit. Add the cornstarch and glycerin after a couple of minutes.

Airbrush body paint with thinner consistency
Mix the paint until it is smooth and has no lumps. Add the water slowly to the mixture to thin it out to the desired consistency and stir thoroughly. You may need less or more water, depending upon how runny or thick you want the airbrush body paint. - 4). Add the food coloring to the desired color and shade. If you are making multiple colors, separate each batch into different containers, then add the coloring. Store in jars with lids when not using.

Airbrush body paint with thicker consistency
Add the paint to the airbrush gun and experiment with the consistency on a model. Use detailing tools to help you shape designs and themes. To make the paint last longer on the model's body, cover with hairspray once finished painting.
